I am very interested in the "small world" - be it Macro or Micro. During my many years with Reichert and Leica, I was able to use their top of the line equipment to take some very attractive photos of biological, botanical, mineralogical and technical materials and objects at magnifications from 1:1 up to over 2000x linear magnification.
The manifold of details, structures and colors is just fascinating. What you see here in this part of the photo gallery are some of the thousands of images, which I have taken during the past 20+ years with various macro systems and large professional photomicroscopes, most of them with the Reichert Polyvar ( Bio, Met and SC version ), which had been discontinued unfortunately already several years ago.
This overview gives you just some glance of these photos - it will be worth it or go directly to the Photomicrography Page ( link is on the header) but be aware - the large files need either broadband connection or quite some time to load!)
